USM Collaboration with MikroTik: Certification Opportunities for Future IT Specialists

During their studies at the Moldova State University (USM), students have the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and skills relevant to the labor market. Certain courses from the MikroTik Academy are integrated into the study programs in the field of Information and Communications Technologies, offered by the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics.

One of these courses is the “MikroTik Certified Network Associate” (MTCNA), which provides students with practical knowledge and skills in using the globally recognized Mikrotik RouterOS equipment and software.

At the end of the course, students have the opportunity to take the MikroTik MTCNA certification exam, and those who pass the exam obtain the MTCNA certificate. Details about the course content and other MikroTik certifications can be accessed at  https://mikrotik.com/training/about.

As part of the collaboration with MikroTik, USM provides students with access to MikroTik RouterOS equipment necessary for their studies and ensures the regular updating of the faculty’s computer network. We are grateful for this valuable collaboration and hope to develop it further in the future.
